You will need to gather the following things:
- Light bulb. It does not matter which kind of bulb you have but if you have a 100-watt bulb then that would be best for the vaporizer.
- Plastic straw. Technically you can use any kind of plastic. But due importance is given to those kind of plastics which are more flexible. Flexibility is needed in the plastic.
- Knife. You can find knife in almost every household. It doesn’t matter which kind of knife you have but make sure it is sharp.
- Electrical tape. You can use any kind of tape but it is better advised that you use electrical tape.
- Thick gloves. You should always keep this in mind that gloves are needed while handling glass. If you are heating thin glass then there are chances that it will shatter.
- Soldering iron. You may not find this thing in your house. Most probably you can find it at any scientific store. You can even borrow it from someone else.
- Cap of plastic bottle. You will need the cap having the size of two liter. This should be selected carefully as it will fit the bulb opening.

- First of all, light bulb is to be selected. You should hold it and keep it confronting towards any stable surface. After that you should cut the bottom that is connected to the metal screw. By doing this, it will become a bulb with an open end. Once you are done with it, then be careful from the open surface, otherwise you may cut your fingers.
- Once you have done this then the next step starts. Clean the bulb from inside with the help of a knife. You should use the pointed end of knife for doing this. You should make sure that it is cleaned properly and nothing remains inside the part.
